KANNIYAKUMARI

The southern tip of mainland India, Kanniyakumari is a charming town where the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean converge. Famous for its breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, and the giant Thiruvalluvar Statue, it's a place where religion, history, and nature converge.

Travel Factors from Kozhikode:
Distance: Kanniyakumari is roughly 450-500 km south of Kozhikode.
Travel Time: An 8-12 hour road (car or bus) travel time depending on traffic and halts. Train travel is also accessible, but might involve transfers and the same travel time.

Afternoon: Start your journey back to Kozhikode. Depending upon your means of travel, you can make it an overnight journey or plan a late evening return to Kozhikode.

Vattakottai Fort: An 18th-century coastal fort with scenic views.
Thirparappu Waterfalls: A scenic waterfall (requires a diversion).
