Arrival in Tbilisi and City Orientation tour (if time permits)
At landing at Tbilisi International Airport, our local guide will receive our group and
assist to board the coach. You will be transferred to hotel for check-in. En route, you'll
have the chance to take in the scenic views and soak in the distinctive ambiance of
Tbilisi. Later in the afternoon, embark on a city orientation tour (if time permits). A
delightful stroll through the Sharden area awaits, with its cozy cafes and charming
souvenir shops. The tour includes visits to Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and
the renowned Rezo Gabriadze Theatre clock tower. Enjoy your dinner at Indian
restaurant. Later return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Tbilisi city tour with all main landmarks, Mtskheta tour and Georgian chronicles
After a delightful breakfast. Proceed to Mtskheta - a historical town and ancient capital located 25 km away from Tbilisi. Before leaving the city, make a first stop at the Tbilisi Sea Memorial. This huge bronze monument is called the "Chronicle of Georgia"
and represents the latest creation of Soviet art in Tbilisi. Ahead opens up a panorama
of the soft outlines of the Kartly mountains and the Soviet district of Temka. Next, visit
two major monuments of Christian architecture in Mtskheta - Svetitskhoveli Cathedral
and Jvari Monastery. Both monuments are enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Don’t forget to have a glimpse on a tiny nunnery behind Svetitskhoveli – follow the
souvenir rows along Arsukidze street until the Aragvi riverside. The Antioch is a name of
oldest basilica in Mtskheta. This charming church is restored and painted recently.
After lunch, drive back to Tbilisi. Tbilisi tour starts from Europe square and Rike Park.
Ride up to the ancient Narikala Fortress by the aerial cable car, enjoy panoramic views of the city from the top of the mountain. Walk downhill and explore Legvtakhevi waterfall, bath house district, Shardeni street and Meidan square, pedestrian glass Bridge of Peace above the river Mtkvari, the old and new districts of Tbilisi. In the evening return
back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Caucasus Mountain tour, Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi
After breakfast, proceed to Kazbegi, a small town close to the border with Russia. The
tour itinerary for this day will start with the Jvari monastery, architectural gem of the
Caucasus, located on top of the hill overlooking major Georgian highlights – its old
capital town Mtskheta; famous two rivers merging point where Mtkvari river meets
river Aragvi; and transport highway entering Tbilisi. Another site worth making a stop
on the way is Ananuri fortress – established in XVI century as a residence for local
Dukes of Aragvi the complex is still a place that impresses all those passing by with its
nobility and greatness. Other attractions en route include exciting view of two small
mountain rivers making one, and flowing side by side without mixing their colors for
quite a distance; also a picturesque mountain landscape viewpoint followed by the “Cross” pass. Arrive in Kazbegi, change a vehicle for 4-wheel-drive cars to get to Gergeti Holy Trinity church, nestled on top of one of the highest hills at 2170 meters above sea level. Return back to Tbilisi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Check out and departure to Armenia
After breakfast, Proceed to Georgian – Armenia border. On the way see Dilijan, other-
wise referred to as "Armenian Switzerland" for its fantastic natural forests. The town is a part of Dilijan National Park. Visit Old Dilijan Complex. The complex is situated in the town of Dilijan, the northern part of Armenia (Tavush region). Tavush region is known for its picturesque landscape, mild climate and many historic sites. Here you can enjoy activities such as shopping for crafts and souvenirs, taste traditional Armenian dishes and have an unforgettable time there. Visit Haghpat Monastery. After drive to Tsaghkadzor. Overnight at the hotel in Tsaghkadzor.
Tsaghkadzor-Lake Sevan-Sevanavank Monastery-Yerevan
After the breakfast enjoy tour of Tsaghkadzor. Visit Tsaghkadzor ropeway. After drive to
Sevanavank – the Pearl of Armenia. Then head to admire the beauty of Lake Sevan, Set
1900m above sea level and covering 1240 sq km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world. Then drive to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Arch of Charents – Geghard Monastery – Symphony of stones –
Garni Temple
After the breakfast at the hotel start the tour and have a first stop near the Arch of Char-
ents from where, the beautiful panoramic view is opened. After head to Geghard Monas-
tery. The monastery originally named Ayrivank having the meaning "the Monastery of the Cave” is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. After
visit Symphony of Stones – the nature made sightseeing in Garni village. Later head to
Garni Temple, which history goes back to 1st AD. After Visit Kecharis Monastery, founded in
the XI century by Armenian Pahlavuni princes. Later return back to Yervan for an overnight
at the hotel.
Yerevan City Tour (Victory Park, Cascade complex, Blue mosque)
After the breakfast at the hotel start city tour from the Victory Park, from where the beau-
tiful city view is opened. After walk the Cascade Complex. Then head to Blue Mosque dating back to the 18th century. After walk to Opera house and North avenue to reach
Republic square. Late in the evening, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Departure Yeravan
After breakfast at the hotel, Check out and get transferred to airport to catch flight back
home. Leave Armenia with beautiful memories.
